San Francisco, CA -- April 14, 2010 -- SmileOnMyMac has released TextExpander 3.0.2, an update to its customizable typing shortcut tool for Mac OS X. With TextExpander, users can define abbreviations for frequently-used text strings and images, also known as snippets. When an abbreviation is typed, it expands automatically to the full snippet.
TextExpander 3.0.2 has improved performance overall. Expansions work properly in Spotlight and in the quick entry windows of other applications. An issue with double expansion in LaunchBar has been fixed. Users can exclude applications in capitalization options in Preferences.
A number of other improvements and fixes have also been made in TextExpander 3.0.2.
A 30-day fully-functioning demo of TextExpander can be downloaded at
http://www.smileonmymac.com/textexpander/download.html. The price is $34.95. A Family Pack license is available for $44.95, which covers up to five computers in one household.
